AI-in-Edtech Product Database/Market Mapping (Common Sense Growth, 2023-24)

I spent several months researching the AI-in-edtech market, compiling and updating a database of nearly 800 products that included details on each solution's marketed features, relevant learner segments, target customers, and pricing, along with each company's funding and its founders. Using this data, I categorized the solutions and created a market map of the key players. This research helped attract investor interest that allowed CSG to make its first investment in an AI-enabled solution, MagicSchool AI.

Membership Product Proposal (Common Sense Media, 2023)
I collaborated with internal and external stakeholders in the organization to determine the fundamental requirements for CSM's inaugural membership product for families, which the organization was looking to launch to replace an existing revenue stream that had steadily dwindled over the years. I created a proposal for the GTM strategy that included a multi-scenario financial model demonstrating how the product could reach $10M+ in revenue by the end of five years and a plan for testing and validating the hypothesis.

Chromebook Monitoring Product GTM (SchoolBranch, 2023)
I worked with the CTO of Arcadia School District to develop a GTM strategy for his Chromebook monitoring product that he had already implemented in K-12 classrooms throughout his district. I created and executed a marketing plan over the summer, prospecting and qualifying 158 K-12 district leads in Northern and Southern California. I met virtually with district technology directors to understand their districts' needs related to Chromebooks and other technology in the classroom, ultimately determining that GoGuardian had thoroughly saturated the market.
Data Systems Analysis (KIPP Foundation, 2014-15)
As KIPP Foundation prepared to overhaul their data systems, I catalogued their SQL and Salesforce databases to understand how they had been used historically and were currently being used. I analyzed the information flows to and from these databases to provide the product team with key considerations in revamping the systems to accommodate future data management requirements.

Annual Data Collection, Verification, and Report Card (KIPP Foundation, 2013-15)
I worked with data managers from 20 KIPP regions managing 162 KIPP schools to collect data on student demographics, student attrition, student achievement, financial aid, and teacher retention. I also executed a process for collecting each school's state test scores (the first year, I collected the scores myself; the second year, I managed a team of temps who collected the scores). I cleaned the data and uploaded it into the Foundation's SQL and Salesforce databases. From that data, I generated reports for KIPP's Annual Report Card and then verified their accuracy with each region's data manager and executive director. I also created exhibits demonstrating each region's achievements in state testing, allowing KIPP to win $4 million in grants and prize money from the U.S. Department of Education and the Broad Foundation.

Team Ops, Project Planning (KIPP Foundation, 2013)
When I joined the Research & Evaluation team at KIPP Foundation, team members were operating in silos and there was inconsistency in completing projects on time due to fragmented communication. I created and implemented a simple yet impactful template that facilitated the team's ability to organize project requirements effectively and assign roles, allowing for consistent communication and on-time project completion.
